Buku Buku Kafe’s second branch is now on its soft opening at the food street of SM Southmall, just in front of Zark’s Burger and will have its grand opening day on December 8, 2016 Thursday.
When you’re craving for some delicious nosh or just looking for a place to chill, Buku Buku Kafe pretty much has got you covered. I found the food to be reasonably priced (note: not necessarily cheap) but surely a bang for your buck, a cafe that really has something different to offer.

Titas of the South, rejoice! Japan’s very own St. Marc Cafe has arrived South of Manila. If you haven’t had the chance to check it out, I took a peek for you 😉
Life is short. Eat that damn dessert.
I am a self-confessed sugar addict. I cannot have a meal without dessert. Heck, I might even have dessert BEFORE the meal. Or better yet, (eyes glimmer at the thought…) Why don’t we just have dessert for the whole meal?!
The gods of desserts must have heard me and sent Milkbox here on earth. A cafe that serves all day waffles, ice cream and milkshakes?! Shush! Say no more!
Concept boutiques and cafes are becoming quite popular these days. They’re so rampant that you shouldn’t be surprised if the house next door turned into one. In fact, one just opened nearby. One that’s called FASHIONOLOGY.
And being the frickin millennial that I am, I was practically compelled to check it out and so I went.
THE DEETS :
Basically, Fashionology is a boutique and café, where you can shop, dine and play. (I literally just copied the words off their banner… WTF.)
There are currently 2 Fashionology branches : 1 in Imus and another in Molino. The one i’m featuring here is the bigger branch, the one in Molino which is a few back flips away from Jollibee Molino and Southeast Asian Medical Center. Stores open from 10am to 10pm.
I’ve been a fan of underarm waxing for some time now. Since my pregnancy, my underarms became unsettlingly dark! (…TMI) I know they say it goes away on its own, but c’mon, I wasn’t going to risk it. So what I did was to avoid the things that were supposedly causing the problem and voila! my underarms turned out to be in much better condition than before I even got pregnant, which I’m so happy about, BTW. They’re still not good enough to be cast in a deo commercial, but I’m not complaining either!
Here are the 3 things I did to lighten my armpits:
- I stopped using deodorant altogether and switched to the miracle stone, our good ol’ Tawas 😉
- I used whitening cream (the one that Mosbeau has which retails for a little under P1,000)
- And lastly, I stopped shaving my armpits and started getting it waxed instead.
I’ve tried a few waxing salons in the past and I want to share with you my experiences so you’d know what to expect IF and WHEN you do decide to get WAXED. (But seriously, do it already!)
Today, i’m going to tell you how they do it at :
